Dreamer's Stylist Academy
We partnered with a well-known beauty institute to offer professional courses in hair styling, makeup, and nail art. Our courses promoted multicultural aesthetics, and encouraged the students to cultivate new skills and to explore future careers.
Due to the pandemic, the physical exhibition originally scheduled on May 16, 2021 was cancelled. However, the enthusiasm of the students was not defeated. The Garden of Hope Foundation, Migrants in Taiwan (GMT) and the students overcame all obstacles to transform the event from offline to online, allowing more people to experience the students' passion and witness their hard work. The works showcased in this exhibition combine Taiwanese makeup techniques with the cultural elements of their homeland, creating new elements and inspiring infinite possibilities, while demonstrating the value and significance of "diversity and integration."
T10 Assembly Partnership Scheme
International Students Empowerment Project
In collaboration with international students in Taiwan, we organized the “T10 Assembly” partnership scheme, aiming at amassing valuable first-hand experiences from practitioners to inspire young innovators and to bring more collaboration between the international student communities with the social engagement society.
We cover topics such as gender and society, innovation for regional revitalization, cultural exchange and collaboration, career development and more.
What you can get from the scheme:
-
Learn first-hand knowledge and experiences in how to work on social issues, how to speak about the difficult topics to the public, how to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
-
Be able to meet experts in the fields of social and civil engagement (NGOs, Government, Social Enterprises, Corporate CSRs and other stakeholders.)
-
Connect with like-minded peers from other universities
-
Tell us what topics interest you! Have your ideas turned into future workshops!

Dementia Training Program
The Dementia Training Program is a collaboration of the GOH-Migrants and the Dementia Center at Taoyuan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The goal of the program is to enhance migrant caregivers’ professional knowledge and skills.
